EnviroFriendly Lawn Care, is a locally owned and   operated family business that specializes in Human Powered and organic methods of lawn care.

We started this business to combine two of our passions - bicycling and environmentalism. By using non-motorized equipement and organic fertilizers we are trying to reduce our impact on the environment and create a healthier living space for you.

The reason for natural lawns are many. They're safer for families, pets, and the environment. They use fewer fossil fuels, water, and fertilizer. They can be less expensive and, in time, require less of your time ~ which allows you to enjoy your lawn rather than worry about its upkeep.

We use Push Reel mowers, hand edgers/shears and sweep or rake only, no gas or electric powered equipment. Additionally, we also use only bicycles with trailers to haul our equipment around and yard waste to either our yard for composting or to Hageman Earth Cycle. 

We use only organic dry fertilizers and compost tea from organic materials brewed to perfection on our back porch.

Owner and manager Marty Shults has a BS from Colorado State University in Soil & Crop Sciences and is a Master Gardener volunteer with Larimer County Extension Service.
